I brush my teeth too hard it would seem.

Which I suppose is an improvement on the vague aura of disapproval over dental neglect which the profession normally exudes.

I think ours does kids for free too.

The one I bought is a rechargeable Oral-B / Braun one (a 'Triumph' I think) that I bought because they were half-price in Waitrose. (I can't remember anything ever being half-price in Waitrose.) I've had it for a fortnight and haven't had to recharge it yet. This is good, because the one thing we forgot to put in the bathroom when we had it done, was a shaver point, so I'll have to recharge it in another room.

Oh, and the one I have vibrates after 30 seconds to tell you to move on to the next 'quadrant' of your mouth. After four quadrants (2 minutes) it vibrates some more to tell you to stop.

This has confused me slightly. My mouth has teeth on the left, teeth on the right and teeth at the front. It divides up pretty neatly into thirds, and rather less neatly into 'quadrants'.

I go with front and back of top and bottom.

You press less hard with them because you can just let them do all the work. With a manual the temptation is to scrub.

Ooh, that makes sense. I'll try that tonight!
