Complex feelings about this but my initial reaction is that I’ve been to the Trafford Centre in the past six months and it never occurred to me I was being checked against a database of faces. https://t.co/glLrXhuW9Z

There were awful TERF flyers in the toilets at work. Did the only thing I could do, which was to take them all down and throw them in the bin.
If you don't think trans women are just as much women as cis women, feel free to never speak to me again.

So far @spaceappsexeter seems to be full of families. I’ve spotted a few single blokes in their twenties but they’re hiding in corners looking a little intimidated. Bizarre but refreshing for a Hackathon.
— Louise Dennis (@louiseadennis) October 20, 2018
It seems like an obvious progression from the group of kids a teacher bought in 2013-through several of us bringing offspring with us in 2015 and 2016. But I’m still amazed how much it now looks like a family event!

Two homeless deaths in the space of 24 hours in Manchester city centre. Not thought to be linked. It’s the regularity of it - to the point that if you’re not careful, it starts to look mundane - that shames the government https://t.co/DHwsvXTiTs
