LEGO Rivendell in front of a window.

B. bought me the LEGO Rivendell set as an early birthday present* last year and I have been slowly building it ever since. I could probably have built it in a weekend, but I've been rationing myself - at weekends I got to add a few bricks every time I finished a task or chore. Anyway, the basic build is done, though my sister gave me a lighting kit for it for Christmas and I've still to install that.

Back of a lego minifig with brown hair holding a golden ring. It's facing a minifig with white hair and a staff. In the background a desk with a book on it can be seen.
Here are Bilbo and Frodo. In installing the first of the lights the One Ring seen here has somehow gone missing (fortunately there is a spare). In the background you can just see Bilbo's book.

A grey lego arch with a white-haired bearded Lego minifig. Under the arch can be seen racks containing bows, axes and swords
There is a little armoury under the pagoda thing. I think this is Gloin. I've managed to identify most of the minifigs with the set - though there is definitely a mystery elf.

A small Lego arch underneath which are lego mushrooms and a small lego frog. A Lego tree is next to it and arches and buildings beyond
Look! Frog!!

A Lego arch with translucent blue bricks beneath. Four minifigs of a man with a shield and sword, a hobbit holding some kind of green vegetable and a carrot, a golden haired elf, and the back of a brown haired elf wearing white. The brown haired elf is standing in a white pagoda type thing.
This is the other side of where the frog is - there is a waterfall at the back there and the frog is behind the waterfall.

A circled of Lego chairs with two minifies - one carrying a long sword - the other is an elf. Intricate tracery beyond.
Apparently the arms of the chairs are actually hot dogs.

A minifig of a n elven statue holds a broken sword on top of some kind of grey and blue stand. It stands before an arch. Balconies and arches beyond
The shards of Narsil.

*he was worried they would sell out.
