purplecat: The Tardis against a sunset (or possibly sunrise) (Doctor Who)

Four more Doctor Who companion outfits for your delectation and delight! Outfits selected by a mixture of ones I, personally, like; lists on the internet; and a certain random element.

Selection of images of Clara's outfit from The Time of the Doctor and Deep Breath. A red tartan mini-skirt, a tight black cardigan with a bow detail. A white shirt with a lace collar and cuffs visible below the end of the cardigan sleeves. Heel short boots and black tights.

Clara in The Time of the Doctor and Deep Breath For some reason, I think of this as Clara's canonical outfit, even though she didn't wear it that much. Possibly it is because it is a popular cosplay choice.

Selection of images of Tegan's outfit from Englightenment. A white Edwardian dress. The bodice has a gauzy crossover detail. The sleeves are elbow length with lace cuffs and then lacey long gloves. There is a white blossom style ornament on one shoulder. She is wearing a tiara and carrying a fan that can hang from her wrist. There is a loop on the long skirt that allows her to lift up the train as she walks.

Tegan in Enlightenment This is possibly the nicest outfit Tegan got to wear, a lovely Edwardian evening gown.

Selection of images of Dan's outfit from The Vanquishers. An Edwardian working man's get up with brown trousers and boots, a blue jacket, dark blue waistcoat and flat cap. He wears a blue and white striped shirt.

Dan in Survivors of the Flux/The Vanquishers Another Edwardian outfit and a definite improvement in terms of how boring Dan's clothes were - though I think he's still striving for ordinary - just ordinary for 1911.

Selection of images of Polly's outfit from The Underwater Menace. A sleeveless top with sea shells stuck all over it. A seaweed skirt. A headress with what is possibly supposed to be a wave curling up over the top.

Polly in The Underwater Menace The Underwater Menace is made fun of for many reasons. To be honest, I quite like the Atlantean costumes, but I can't claim that they stand up to close inspection.

It is fun for both Tegan and Dan to get some historical dress up! Tegan looks like she’s getting married, but I don’t know that I mind that. (Hours of fun for shippers?)
