I found myself amused that this particular photo manages to make the pants look ill-fitted, given how much a dandy Three was...

I read recently that the third Doctor's early costumes were actually Pertwee's own clothes! But I'm guessing this is a later shot so it's presumably costume. I know a lot of the companion outfits at this point were purchased from the high street - but I'm guessing the Doctor's clothes were probably made in-house. I'm not sure what that necessarily implies about fit though.
