Next to Wendy a young man with a short scarf around his next is holding some kind of device (or possibly another of the monsters appendages).

I had forgotten that Wendy Padbury starred in the Doctor Who stage play The Seven Keys to Doomsday as "Jenny" and, given this was after her time on the TV show, I wonder why the script wasn't altered to make her Zoe again once she had been cast.
