Last month I did some public engagement work at the World Museum in Liverpool to support the Doctor Who exhibition. They gave me a complementary ticket to go in and look around. It must be said I skipped most of the science information bits.

I liked the decor

I looked hard, but nowhere on this replica of the "original" console could I find the words Fast Return Switch.

This model was about half size. I didn't even notice the Doctor's face until I was going through my photos.

I blinked

I particularly liked this display.

It was very nicely put together - and if I'd had more patience for the science communication stuff that looked pretty good too.

It looks good! Although I'm not sure I'd trek up to Liverpool to see it (sorry!).

It's a nice exhibition - if you were in an hour or so, I'd say it was worth the trip. Not so sure about the 3+ hours from London though - not to mention the price of train tickets.
