Sufficiently that she began to get quite tetchy when other people helped themselves to slices the following day - in the end we had to insist that either she eat the remainder or we did, otherwise it would get stale

I hunger... I bet the cake didn't last long!

Quite a lot of it went the first day and then G. got upset that other people were eating her cake. So then we had to sit and look at it for a couple of days before issuing an "either you eat the cake or we do" ultimatum.
