William and his late brother J. Andrew Keith are most famous in RPG circles for their work on Traveller. Supplements, adventures and art (the art was William's).
I recall relatively little about these. I seem to remember preferring this one of the two (both by William H.). Reading the back of the other suggests it might be more Traveller-ish. It certainly reads more space-y while this one was very historical timey-wimey.
The cover art here is attributed to Harry Quinn. At the back is an Ad for a Battletech novel also by William H. Keith. It's not clear whether that is choose-your-own adventure or not.
