I have been crocheting quite a bit:

I don't know what I actually plan to do with a crocheted hood, but I liked the pattern and it used up some of the yarn collection.

It is nice and warm. It's a Ravelry pattern but not a free one, but I liked the look of it so much I felt I deserved!

I err might have made a second hood in purple and a kind of orangey yellow, if you would like it. I think I have your address somewhere and could drop it round.

The Ewok is great! I got given a Star Wars crochet book some time ago and had sort of forgotten about it.

It is sometimes easy to get a bit lost in all the thoughts of the things you aren't doing (like writing fanfic - so long since I wrote any!), that you forget to notice all the things you do manage to get done, so it was nice to hear this.

That's an idea. I considered it for LARPing (not that I really LARP anymore) but I suspect it would just get caught in things when running around a forest.
