Black and white picture of one of the Fish People from The Underwater Menace. Strangely its lips have been coloured over in bright red and its eyes replaced by white circles with red centers.

This is from DWM Issue 78. It is tempting to wonder what on Earth they were thinking, but I suspect they had just got access to new printing technology which allowed them one extra colour as well as black and white and some kind of primitive image manipulation software. To this they added an aspiration to be, I don't know, funky and different? I can't say I think the experiment works.

Mechanical spot colour printing and manual cutting and pasting, I think, rather than software.
