That face is pretty good on that one, but I don't think the hair captures it very well.

That's... a bit dull. There wasn't much they could do about the costume, but they could have picked a more dynamic pose.

I read an post on how all art is a self portrait, and we seem to be studying the dolls to read what the artist is like!

The artist is called Ben Morris I have found his Tumblr though he doesn't seem to update it very often. I'm not sure if there is more to be learned...

He's not giving much away, although, presumably we can conclude he is a fan of DW. I think his work is better with backgrounds which isn't much good for a book of cut out figures.
