I agree with everything here, except calling Burton a villain (regardless of what he said). He's much more the anti-hero to Connor. It's not like he brought the end of the world purposefully; he's as much an innocent dupe of all of Helen's projects (and when did she start cackling?).

Do agree that Emily was underutilized, and that they really need to figure out what those guns can and can't do.

Also, when did the predators suddenly gain Flash-caliber speed boosts?

I do like the ending, in that it's meant to show that life is going on as "normal" in the ARC, and it gives a nifty little hook to hang series 6 on (which frankly, if you've read enough time travel, should come as a shock to no one (even though there's some paradoxes that are just...out there)).

(Plus, I have opinions about seeing Ciaran around all the time - boy is fine, even if he couldn't deliver a line if it was in a box and came with free breadsticks.)

I just have one question, on something I noted in the credits. Becker's been a main character for how long and he doesn't have a first name? Really?

In sum? I'm hoping for s06. I won't be heartbroken without it, but the show, overall, seems to have found some traction, even if the writers are in desperate need of a bible.
