Page from DWM. In big blue letters down the middle is the caption Hit for Six. Either side of this are portraits of the first six Doctors, all publicity stills (I think). Underneath the title it says: In this anniversary issue it seems appropriate to cast our gaze backward, and of course forward, to look at the development of the Doctor's character through the course of his six personae, an aspect of the series Richard Marson sees as vital for its continuing popularity.

This is from DWM's 100th issue, which seems rather low key in retrospect. The irony of this being the month news of the cancellation broke was clearly not lost on the editorial team, despite the comment above about the show's "continuing popularity".
