I have a dim memory of this. Even as a youngster, it would sometimes strike me that the stories in Doctor Who annuals were showing the Doctor acting in a very, well un-Doctor-like fashion.
The DWM comics seemed to suffer from this less. Were the comic writers given more guidance or subject to more oversight than the annual writers perhaps?
