I got a book on those comics a while ago and was surprised that there were so many WWII stories, given the TV series being unwilling to have actual Nazis on taste grounds.
Maybe my perception is different in part because of 1960s vs 1970s and possibly also because I don't suppose I particularly critically examined at that age what was American media vs what was British media.
I suppose a Third Reich story featuring the Doctor could also easily stray into "why doesn't the Doctor stop the Holocaust" territory which, just no. TBH, I was worried "Let's Kill Hitler" would stray into this territory but I think it mostly got away with it by dropping the whole question of killing Hitler after the first 10 minutes and treating those 10 minutes more or less as farce.
This is, in fact, a scan of a Classic Comics reprint. I definitely think the TV action scripts had some of the best art of the Doctor Who comics (not that I'm any kind of afficionado of comic book art).
