purplecat: The Tardis against a sunset (or possibly sunrise) (Doctor Who)

Four more Doctor Who companion outfits for your delectation and delight! Outfits selected by a mixture of ones I, personally, like; lists on the internet; and a certain random element.

Selection of images of Romana's outfit from Meglos. A jacket and knickerbocker outfit in a red material made as a sort of collage of floral designs. The jacket has short sleeves and there is a lacey floppy shirt underneath. With socks and gold shoes.

Romana in Meglos This is a bit of a strange outfit for Romana. Not quite as well fitted and trim as her general preferences, but moving in that direction.

Selection of images of Mel's outfit from The Ultimate Foe. Coordinating royal blue trousers and a bat-wing top with a large belt. A light blue chiffony jacket over the top with full sleeves gathered into long cuffs. The trousers are tucked into high-heeled boots.

Mel in The Ultimate Foe It must be said this outfit hadn't ever really registered with me until the random process threw it up. But it suits Mel well, while being a little more restrained than many of her choices.

Selection of images of Liz's outfit from The Ambassadors of Death. A grey woolen mini-dress with a silver belt and knee-length white high-heeled boots.

Liz in The Ambassadors of Death I quite like this mini-dress though, to be honest, it is a bit shorter than anything I think I'd have dared to wear.

Selection of images of Nardole's outfit from The Return of Doctor Mysterio and The Pyramid at the End of the World. An orange duffle coat over shirt and trousers. The shirt is pale in most shots but has red-checks in one. The trousers are mostly orange.

Nardole in The Return of Doctor Mysterio While I have mostly tried to document different shirts differently (see all Chris Chibnall's characters), Nardole rather defeated me. I'm not sure that shirt in the publicity shot on the right ever even appeared in an episode. There is also a possibility he is wearing different trousers in several of these. Anyway, the point is clearly the duffle coat.

That was a difficult choice! I like both Mel's and Liz's outfits but in the end I decided to vote for Mel's because it's more fun. Liz's dress has such a boring colour.
