Four more Doctor Who companion outfits for your delectation and delight! Outfits selected by a mixture of ones I, personally, like; lists on the internet; and a certain random element.






Nardole in Extremis It was a bit of a surprise to realise Nardole had had several outfits - though in general it is variations on the theme of an orange coat. In this case the coat is a rather cosy looking red and black jacket.




Sarah in Planet of the Spiders I've been rather rude about Sarah's outfits, but I really like this one - a nice compromise between her sensible workwear type outfits and the more quirky style she developed later. Also, it is so far beyond my capabilities to coordinate a suit, top, hat and gloves that I'm just in awe of the effect created.




Jack in Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways Tempting as it would have been to go for naked Jack, I have instead opted for his more contemporary miltary outfit.




Nyssa in Snakedance This is my favourite Nyssa costume, and one of my favourite Doctor Who outfits, so it came as a bit of a surprise in later life to discover many people think it hideous and, objectively, it is hard to argue. There is, after all, a lot going on here and it's not terribly coherent - why the red shorts? why that huge bow? Do all those stripes really go together? I still love it though.

I’ll have to go for Sarah in this one. I really like the outfits she wears in the Third Doctor era.

Sarah's looking so smart in that outfit, and also warm. I completely agree with the commenter above that she generally had much nicer outfits during the Third Doctor's era.

I'm very sad to have to say it but I've always thought that outfit of Nyssa's is one of the ugliest ever in Classic Who. Nothing in it works with anything else!

It is difficult to defend my fondness for that Nyssa outfit.

This was an interesting one, because I was 'yeah I guess' about the first three, and would have had some issue picking between them, given they are all interesting costumes. And then I got to Nyssa, and all was fine, because I love that costume.

I'm glad someone else likes this costume - in fact, looking at the results, several someones - though I think Sarah is going to win!

It does rather look like a solid win. I kind of like that costume, but it is somehow managing to be bland in a 'my eyes slide right off it' kind of way.

I think there are blander costumes - but I agree it wasn't an outfit I was really aware of until the randomness sent me looking to see what Sarah wore in Planet of the Spiders.
