Four more Doctor Who companion outfits for your delectation and delight! Outfits selected by a mixture of ones I, personally, like; lists on the internet; and a certain random element.






Romana in The Armageddon Factor The first Romana is probably best known for her long white outfits. Of the two, this is my favourite, being the marginally more practical.




Ryan in Kerblam! A lot of Ryan's outfits are quite dull because Chibnall and his unreasonable interest in companions that dress like normal people, but I do like this shirt. I'm not convinced a nice shirt is going to be enough to beat two Romana outfits - but possibly they'll split the vote and Ryan in a nice shirt will romp past them into winning position!




Clara in Hide I think this is the first time Clara wore the kind of mini-dress I most associate with her. I like the blazer that goes over it, but its frustrating for screenshot purposes that so much of this episode is filmed in candlelight.




Romana in State of Decay I think this is the first time when we've had outfits from the two Romanas (arguably the two best dressed companions, at least of the classic series) head to head against each other. Both are quite typical of the two incarnations' styles, but I'm not sure this was the best of the second Romana's choices.

A hard decision on the two Romana's but I think the white dress is just a smidge more fabulous.

I really like that white dress, whereas I'm on the scale of Romana 2 outfits I'm quite "meh" about the State of Decay one.

Imma help with vaulting Ryan towards the win! I do prefer companions dressed for practicality, and I'm not particularly fond of either Romana outfits. Clara's outfit is okay on the practicality scale except for the handbag. Sure, it's good for carrying things (and in my opinion, companions should come prepared), but a handbag that big and theoretically heavy would be hard to run with. A normal small handbag would be relatively useless. Backpack ftw!

I like Clara's outfit here. But my vote has to go to Romana I. Fabulous dress/top layered over trousers. Practical and stylish. And a very statement colour. I've also given a lot of votes to Romana II, even if I am still somewhat traumatised nearly 50 years on from that regeneration!

I think Romana I's is is probably my second favourite of her outfits. The really flowing white thing she wore in The Ribos Operation was a bit too impractical.

Romana II had some awesome outfits but I agree this one is definitely not one of the best. Quite boring in fact. Romana I's white dresses might be many things but they are definitely never boring! And she's my favourite Romana anyway :-)

I like her too! Romana II and Four are (mostly) lovely together, but the edge to the relationship with Romana I was great and I don't think she has a duff outfit her entire run.

I went for Romana II's boring outfit XD A smidgen too horsey, but I like the jacket and socks.
