Costume Bracket: Round 1, Post 28
Apr. 4th, 2024 11:43 amFour more Doctor Who companion outfits for your delectation and delight! Outfits selected by a mixture of ones I, personally, like; lists on the internet; and a certain random element.

Dodo in The Celestial Toymaker I suspect the companion outfits in The Celestial Toymaker were deliberatey chosen to emphasise the concept of children's toys and games. Certainly neither Steven nor Dodo ever wore anything quite like this at any other time. I actually think Dodo's dress is a lot of fun - very 1960s.

Nyssa in Black Orchid I don't think Nyssa's fancy dress costume from Black Orchid is as nice as Tegan's, but is a cleverer idea combining a moth/butterfly with a flapper dress.

Tegan in Warriors of the Deep and The Awakening I've never been sure what I think of these mini-dress type things that Tegan wore. I don't feel like they really do her any favours and seem pretty impractical for adventuring in the Tardis (not that any of Tegan's clothes were that practical for adventuring).

Steven in The Celestial Toymaker As chance would have it we have the other half of The Celestial Toymaker outfits. I don't think Steven's is at much fun as Dodo's. That jumper is doing most of the work, but once again not much like anything else he ever chose to wear.
Vote for your favourite of these costumes. Use whatever criteria you please - most practical, most outrageously spacey, most of its decade!
Voting will remain open for at least a week, possibly longer!
