purplecat: The Tardis against a sunset (or possibly sunrise) (Doctor Who)

Four more Doctor Who companion outfits for your delectation and delight! Outfits selected by a mixture of ones I, personally, like; lists on the internet; and a certain random element.

Selection of images of Ace's outfit from Remembrance of the Daleks. A puffy black jacket adorned with badges and cloth patches, a full short black skirt. Black leggings. Sensible shoes. A baseball bat, rucksack and ghetto blaster.

Ace in Remembrance of the Daleks This is of course the classic Ace look. The jacket which defines her, with the black skirt and, of course, the baseball bat.

Selection of images of Bill's outfit from Extremis. A short sleeveless wrap-around dress with sections of material in a blue pattern, a green, and a pale white. It has black lining which turns out to form big lapels. Underneath is a black polo neck jumper. She is wearing black leggings and boots. The dress has some kind of flap or pocket on the back between the shoulder blades.

Bill in Extremis I'm not sure what I make of this dress of Bill's. It reflects her quirky style, but her outfits on the whole tended more towards trousers or leggings with a colourful top, so this seems a bit muted.

Selection of images of Ace's tuxedo from Ghostlight. A black tailcoat and trousers over a white starched shirt with a white bow tie and a grey waistcoast.

Ace from Ghostlight I believe Ace in a Tuxedo was a formative moment for some fans.

Selection of images of Sarah's outfit from The Brain of Morbius. A brown shirt with a brown quilted waitcoast over it and a pinkish quilted sleeveless jacket of that in some shots Pinkish velvet trousers gathered at the angle with some kind of frill and heeled pink shoes.

Sarah from The Brain of Morbius I honestly don't know what to make of this one. As already noted Sarah's outfits seem to become increasingly eccentric and all this quilting and what look like velvet trousers seem impractical without being that flattering.

I'm pretty sure Ace is weaing culottes in Remembrance, rather than a skirt. I don't think she ever actually wears a skirt other than her period pieces! And iconic as that look is, Ghostlight's tux must win out. <3

Ace looks fabulous in her white tie outfit (it's not a tuxedo) but I'm voting for the Remembrance outfit anyway. It's just such a classic.
