A blanket made from 24 large crocheted squares on a double bed

I don't seem to have posted a photo of the 2022 crochet blanket. That year I didn't pick a colour theme but instead resolved to use up leftover yarn. This effort still left a lot of yarn in the house so last year I did something similar, only I did purchase new yarn in three neutralish colours in the hopes of adding some unity to the effect. I'm pleased with the outcome, though wish I'd selected three brown colours rather than two browns and a bluish grey. There is still a lot of leftover yarn, mind you. This year I've picked one pale neutral colour to go into every square and will focus on "stash-busting" for the rest.

It was late January before I finished this blanket mind - which means I'm already two squares behind on the 2024 effort!! For those interested, details of the annual Moogly Cal can be found here.
