Costume Bracket: Round 1, Post 5
Jan. 17th, 2024 09:23 amFour more Doctor Who companion outfits for your delectation and delight! Outfits selected by a mixture of ones I, personally, like; lists on the internet; and a certain random element.
A very "Daleky" selection!

Susan from The Daleks. This is a fairly typical trousers and top look for Susan. I like the detailing of the shirt collar.

Rose from Dalek I'm not sure if this counts as a separate outfit or we can simply assume it is what Rose is mostly wearing under her pink hoodie. The big hair though, is restricted to this story and The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances.

Vicki from The Rescue and The Web Planet I think this is what people mostly think of when they think of Vicki's outfit. It's certainly instantly recognisable when cos-played. I was surprised, though, how tricky it was to find decent full length shots of it. It's surprising how effectively it conveys "futuristic", given it's mostly a tunic with a fancy collar.

Tegan in Resurrection of the Daleks Tegan in her final few stories was all about colourful prints. Arguably this was the most flattering contemporary outfit she ever got. It's not shapeless (which some of them were) but she also doesn't looked like she's been squeezed into something too tight-fitting in some misguided attempt to appeal to the "Dads".
Vote for your favourite of these costumes. Use whatever criteria you please - most practical, most outrageously spacey, most of its decade!
Voting will remain open for at least a week, possibly longer!
