There has been a bit of chatter about The Ultimate Adventure recently since it is its 30th anniversary. I didn't see the original version of the play with Jon Pertwee, but I did see the version with Colin Baker when the tour came to Oxford. I seem to remember liking it, but then I quite like musicals and similar fare - I vaguely recall fans at the time being somewhat taken aback by the tendency of the cast to break into song.

Not the best shot of the Pertwee nostrils! I'd like the musical if the Radiophonic workshop of the 60's & 70's did the music;p

It is quite a strange angle!!! My memory is that the music is more Cameron-Mackinstosh than Radiophonic Workshop...
