Speke Hall is a great location.

It is - though I'm not sure that the public, presented with the opportunity to program Lego Robots in the Tudor Hall, necessarily understood the chain of reasoning that went through the National Trust's "Vigorous Victorians" theme, via Ada Lovelace and ended up with Lego Robots.

I like the juxtaposition between old technology and the new. Also the big swords:D

When we asked them if there was a suitably dramatic bit of the hall for having our picture taken, they did not disappoint!
