I've really been enjoying your posts about this walk. I'm also astonished at the distances you're covering. I suppose maybe part of it is that my hikes tend to be in mountainous terrain, but 20 miles is a long day-hike to me, and you've exceeded that a few times!

I think we only got over 20 miles once and that was partly due to bad planning on our part. It was exceptionally flat that day, with a lot of road walking which would explain why we managed it in a smidgen over 10 hours. Even so, it's not an experience I'm keen to repeat.

It was fun posting as I went along - normally I try to save these things up for more considered (and lengthier posts) but actually the "couple of pics plus short paragraph" thing was fun to do as I was going on and people seem to have liked it.

I know! It was worth doing for the stamps alone.

Though I think we're now supposed to send the passport off for a certificate. I don't think we will though because we'd rather have the stamps.

Oooh! Well done! Having seen a few of your other posts, it looks like it was a wee bit painful but enjoyable and worth it.
