"On behalf of the FMIS 2009 Program Committee we are pleased to inform you that the following submission has been accepted for publication at the FMIS 2009 workshop."
FMIS stands for Formal Methods for Interactive Systems.
Would like to be able to claim some credit for this paper, but to be honest, all I did was go to a few project meetings and argue with people...

Date: 2009-09-16 06:20 pm (UTC)We recently got a rejection on the basis of two referees reports that showed that they didn't understand our paper*. Apparently JCP (Journal of Computational Physics) has been going downhill recently. Oh well, there is always CiCP (Communications in Computational Physics) who we hope will accept it. I hope JCP get better referees for the other paper of ours that they have.
* eg 'Why haven't we run lots of standard 1d test cases to show how our solver performs?" when the whole point of our paper is multi-d. Our solver behaves identically to standard ones in 1d.
