Trixie the Triceratops
Oct. 19th, 2015 07:51 pmActually, the Triceratops is not called "Trixie" because B. deferred to G. in the naming stakes and so we ended up with Richard. Trixie, after all, is an in-joke known only to a handful of denialists.
Anyway, crochet project 2 is an apology to B. for failing to instantly produce a crocodile scale cardigan and is based on this pattern from Ravelry. The horns were a total nightmare to crochet and I ended up using a technique called a magic ring, rather than the one in the pattern. I also didn't stuff them because I couldn't honestly see how to fit any stuffing into them.
B. is very pleased.
