NuWho Rewatch: Dalek
Oct. 11th, 2014 04:25 pmI'm sorry
gominokouhai I still think this is better than Into the Dalek.
I rewatched this so recently I don't really have anything new to say about it. NLSSChild was oddly bemused by Adam's inclusion in the TARDIS team at the end, having obviously already picked up on the Not-suitable-companion material vibes. She also made very similar jokes to everyone else when the Dalek downloaded the internet (noting that it must now know an awful lot about cats). I'm not sure she was really following the parallels between the Doctor and the Dalek however, nor really appreciating Rose's role in the narrative. This is possibly a story that appeals more to adults than to children.
