So freecycle sounds like this really great idea - you email that you have something available, free to a good home, someone comes and collects it, everyone is happy.

A week ago I listed a bag of children's clothes and an old bicycle. Lots of interest in both. Both are still in my possession and I have three times now sat at home waiting for someone to collect who completely failed to show up at the appointed time.

There is some chance the bicycle may go on Tuesday but I think the clothes will be going in the "send to Africa" box next time we're at the recycling centre.
