Reading: Just finished The Boy with the Porcelain Blade. The blurb likens it to both Gormenghast and the Locke Lamora stories. I can see the connection, particularly to Gormenghast, but it didn't quite hit the spot for me.

Listening: Verity Podcast (as usual). Interesting discussion of Paddy Russell directed episodes with a particular focus on The Horror of Fang Rock.

Watching: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 2. A step change up in quality from season 1, though I could live without my homegrown Melinda May fan club who feel the need to preface her every appearance with "She is sooo cool!".
