The finish line. Two things strike me about this photo. Firstly, the finish line was, apparently, a lot more crowded than it felt on the ground and secondly, while I was aware there was a bunch of squaddies in front of me, I was not aware that the Hulk and Iron Man were behind me.
I think it must be something to do with the camera angle. Because that photo makes it look like one would have to elbow people aside to get anywhere, which really wasn't the case.
A third thing that strikes me about the finish line is that you seem to be charging through at enormous speed. There is a vague impression that squaddies are about to be flung to either side as you come through them! It is very impressive.
I think I must be pretty much on the finish line. Everyone in front of me looks like they are walking along in "it's over!" mode, while I'm clearly still going for it!
I think its very random with running photos. Sometimes you look like you're breezing along when you're feeling horrible, and other times you have this rictus expression when you're fine. I was definitely flagging by the time I reached the finish line here - not sure when the other photos were taken.
