The Liz & Silver one sent me on a little statistical sideline. Of 154 works on AO3 tagged Silver, Liz is not only the only crossover character to make the top ten, but her 19 appearances make her the fourth most popular character after Silver, Steel and Sapphire themselves. She even comes in ahead of Lead, an unimpeachably canonical Element!

Unfortunately, there really is no way to rate S&S stats properly because the person who has written by far the greatest proportion of works in the tag never tags characters or ships. (It also makes Silver and the OT3 look disproportionately popular, as they rarely if ever write it and write a considerable amount of Sapphire/Steel).

The last few letters seem to be the tricky ones! You got Q, though, which is the other one that seems to elude people.

I was pleased I got Q - slightly surprised I didn't get U, and maybe V. Not at all surprised I had nothing for X or Z.

Given the phase I went through writing various Zombie AU type things (and fanfic for Urban Dead) I was a little surprised there was nothing beginning with Zombie.
