I remember visiting this the first time my group of friends were in Wales. We had gorgeously sunny weather just like this all week and we joked we were in an AU Wales :-)

I remember loving it as a child because it was one of the few castles that had what I considered a proper moat. Even without that it's particularly solid and impressive.
