Something about this picture made me remember seeing his first appearance, and how even Tiny!Me thought "he's so young". I mean, at the time, I'd only seen Jon and Tom; I don't think I saw anything of the first two Doctors until I was actually doing the conventions more.

I don't recall what I thought that clearly. My family were keen on All Creatures Great and Small, so I think he had good recognition value...
