purplecat: The Tardis against a sunset (or possibly sunrise) (Doctor Who)

Four more Doctor Who companion outfits for your delectation and delight! Outfits selected by a mixture of ones I, personally, like; lists on the internet; and a certain random element.

Selection of images of Ace's outfit from Survival. A red V-neck top, black trousers with a red and black tie used as a velt.

Ace in Survival Mostly about the top this one, otherwise a lot like a lot of Ace's outfits, though I like the detail of what seems to be a school tie at the waist.

Selection of images of Jo's outfit from The Claws of Axos. A pink mini-skirt with matching knee-length boots. It's possible the mini-skirt is parto f the dress since puffy pink sleeves are visible at the end of the jacket. A greenish brown jacket with a large asymetrical neck.

Jo in The Claws of Axos It was frustratingly difficult to get good shots of this outfit. It looks great in that black-and-white publicity still even though something odd seems to be happening at the wrists.

Selection of images of Liz's outfit from The Ambassadors of Death. A dark blue coat presumably over a min-dress. Knee-lenght white boots. A fabulous white hat.

Liz in The Ambassadors of Death This is the last post in Round 1 (almost - I have a bonus post for tomorrow ) and I think it fitting that it includes a fabulous hat.

Selection of images of Clara's outfit from Nightmare in Silver. A short black leather jacket zipped up one side, over a black mini-dress with a red floral design. Black tights and black ankle boots with a high chunky heel.

Clara in Nightmare in Silver A pretty typical Clara outfit to end on.

I think what's going on with Jo's sleeves is that they're actually the mini-dress (or a matching blouse)'s sleeves poking out the end of a beige jacket over the top - so a loose-ish fabric that is therefore bunching out at the bit where it emerges from the sleeves.

I think agree with the commenter above, the strange fabric around her wrists is probably the very wide blousing sleeves of her dress. It's a pity because I quite like the rest of her outfit. It doesn't beat Liz's snazzy hat though.

Dang, a hat, I don't like it with Liz's coat though, so Jo wins the seventies fashion fight for me.

It'd be fine if she poked the blouse sleeves back up her coat ones.
