What I find interesting is that, while all classic Who moves at a noticeably slower pace, sometimes it is more obvious than others - so some stories are perfectly pacey by the standards of the time but other clear even then were just too much padding.

I'd didn't mind the pace of this one too much, but I think I quite liked the setting. But I suspect it would have needed to be tighter to really earn the reputation it has.
