What a great review - I chose those three stories (Blum, Hinton and PPH) as the best ones when I reviewed the collection way back when - *and* two of those three as the weakest (Richards and Orman). Great minds think alike!

One thing - though the Iris in 'Marked for Life' shares a name with the Who one and turns into a baby at the end, I'm pretty sure she's not the same character as that in the Who novels. She's probably the inspiration for 'our' Iris, however ('Marked for Life' is great, btw - well worth reading).
