Random Doctor Who Picture


The Emperor Dalek from Evil of The Daleks on his podium. A Dalek in the foreground with the top of its head removed. This is upside down on the floor containing what looks like a bunch of wires.
I'm guessing this is a behind the scenes picture, since I don't recall any Dalek heads being removed in Evil of the Daleks - though I'm not sure what all the wires are? Presumably they controlled the flashing lights but there seems to be an awful lot of wiring for that...

I think headless Daleks (with mutants inside, or is that my imagination?) can be seen in the telesnaps of the Dalek civil war scenes, and maybe in some of the behind the scenes footage on various DVDs.

I hadn't thought it was meant to be a Dalek creature! You could be right.
