Glaurung, Father of Dragons

When I started making this I thought we would use it as a Christmas decoration and it is only in the past couple of days I've wondered why I've decided dragons are Christmassy. I think it must be Smaug's fault. Smaug continues to completely inadequately guard a hoard of chocolate coins.

I dunno about Christmassy, but that's one gorgeous father of dragons! Smaug, on the other hand, I can see why he is inadequate as a treasure-guard: just too cute to inspire fear in prospective thieves.

Smaug is rubbish - we are constantly having to purchase more coins for him.
