Possibly I'm reading too much into this, but she seems a bit upset and I feel sorry for her, although I felt that Martha generally got a bad deal, in and out of the programme. Easily my favourite companion of the Davies years (unless you count Bernard Cribbens. Then admittedly it becomes a closer contest).

She looks a bit startled, I think. Possibly because her hospital has just got transported to the Moon!

Martha does look alarmed. Hopefully she has a more relaxed face!

On the whole I'm not keen on these dolls having replacement faces but in this case it may be an advantage.

Arguably it worked well for Donna too.
