Photo Dump: Portmeirion

I never posted the photos I took when we were in Portmeirion for Christmas.

Two people on a sandy beach. Hills visible across the estuary.
They are not numbers...

Wide shot of beach and a hill coming down to a white tower, buildings behind.

Wide shot of beach. Clear blue sky. A small white lighthouse is visible.

Looking down from a balcony to mostly white buildings with blue decorations by a harbour.

A yellow tower with a red building next to it. A road leads to it with a steep bank and a tree on one side and a wall with a gate on the other. The sky is a threatening blue, but sunlight is on the building.

A man standing on a balcony around a white lighthouse. He is looking through binoculars.

View along a straight back to the tiered, coloured buildings of Portmeirion.

Bronze statue of a man in the dress of a Buddhist monk or similar, holding a ceremonial torch.
This Peace Statue was new. It depicts Sri Chinmoy, founder of the Pease Run.

Small graves in a wooded clearing. In the centre is a pile of branches with a statue of a dog at the top.
The Pet Cemetary was not new, but we'd never actually managed to find it before, despite it being well sign-posted.

A white lighthouse with a blue top against beach and blue sky. A man stands by a picnic table to the left, facing away from us, taking a photo.
