There are a lot on that stretch of the Thames and even more on the Oxford canal which is almost right next to it. They range from the extremely dilapidated through to elborately painted with flower pots and so on. This is one of the more functional looking examples. I think a lot are used for day-tripping of various kinds, but many are clearly lived in.
