A friend of mine very amusingly pointed out that for all Torchwood's proclamations of adult content and its emphasis on sex - we have yet to actually see any breasts in its entire run. He felt it actually had a strange attitude to sex, which was both prurient and puritanical, and which rather contributed to the feeling that it was adolescent rather than adult.
