Interesting. I don't know if this means that it's more of an open wound or less, but this entire issue was never mentioned, once, during my entire time at university. I wondered why everyone was pussyfooting around the big issues, concluded that they were all too scared to address them (which in a way, perhaps, they were) or were deliberately hoarding the cool stuff away from the undergrads, and lost interest.
