That's very interesting, you could well be right. In which case, again, Amy is doing all those things Rose was so trumpeted for which in Rose's case we were far more often told about than shown (Dalek was the only episode where I honestly felt Rose could be seen to be anchoring the Doctor's humanity in some sense).
