Well possibly, but I get the impression they just do a trawl of academic web pages every so often and then go on a fishing expedition - I'm not the only person I know who got this email in the last couple of weeks. I don't think they have a particular job in mind - they certainly didn't seem to last time round, although as I went through the process they narrowed the focus on where I would go if they did recruit me.

I suppose what may have changed is that they are looking for more academic types in Europe. The last time round I got the impression that they wanted ideas people in Seattle but hardcore programmers in Europe.
