New Books
One of the benefits of the week in Majorca is that my "to-read" pile has dropped below ten books. This means I will allow myself to consciously go out (or at least go to Amazon) and buy more (as opposed to the more usual drip-drip-drip by which they seem to arrive without me having consciously decided to buy more books). I shall be getting the latest tenth Doctor and Martha books (but of course!) but have heroically decided to skip Big Finish's output of short stories and Benny novellas unless I hear good things about them.

ladyofastolat and one of Sharon McCrumb's Appalachian Fantasy/Detective novels mentioned by lil_shepherd. I'm also tempted by Mike Carey's latest Felix Castor novel (having enjoyed the first in the series) and Fleshmarket Close by Ian Rankin which I've somehow never succeeded in buying. Anyone with other suggestions?
