I've gone off xkcd a bit recently, although I still follow it. I suppose as a non-scientist I feel a bit out of the loop sometimes. Plus I think it's just not as funny as it used to be (the memory cheats?). Also, I once recommended it to someone I had a crush on, only for the next day's joke to be thoroughly obscene.

This one is me with my family, though. Ironically even though my Dad is a former computer programmer (from the days of punch cards and tape spools until the nineties or so when he moved to management), I'm the one everyone turns to for computer advice.
