I can't remember seeing a researcher credited anywhere in the paperwork for The Romans. However, Joan Rodker was employed as researcher on The Aztecs - a few years before, she'd made a documentary for ITN about Aztec buildings in Mexico, probably the one whivhBarry Newbery watched to help with design.
